La Plagne/Les Arcs
The Vanoise Express is back in action! Repairs to this key link between the two resorts have been completed and testing is underway to ensure that the life is working for Winter 08/09.

Les Arcs
New six-seater chair lift connecting Vallandry with Arc 1800.

Chamonix
A new 10-person Planpraz gondola will open on the Brevent sector which will cut queues both in the morning as well as in the evening when skiers download.

Meribel
The Pas du Lac gondola capacity has been increased to speed up the access to Courchevel. The bottom sector of the Tougnete gondola on the Mottaret sector has also been refurbished.

Val d'Isere/Tignes
The replacement of the old Tufs chairlift from Val Claret to Toviere with a new six-seater will enhance the link between the two resorts. The very slow Marmottes triple chair from the bottom of the Borsat Express to the top of Bellevarde will be replaced with a new six-seater chairlift.

SWITZERLAND
Engelberg
On the Brunni sector, the cable car is being upgraded.

Klosters
A new two-seater chair lift replaces the old Zugenhuttli draglift on Madrisa.

St Moritz
The top sector of the Corvatsch cable car from Murtel to the 3,300m summit is due to replaced. There is also the rumour of a new high speed quad on this sector as well.

Zermatt
A new beginners ski area is to be created by the lake below Sunnegga on the Findeln sector with a new lift to take skiers back up.

ITALY
Courmayeur
The popular Tzaly beginners' area is to get a new replacement for the old drag lift.

Cortina
The Cinque Torre sector is set to install a new chairlift and build a new piste which will link this sector to the Passo Falzarego/Lagazuoi area.

NORTH AMERICA
Whistler
The new Peak 2 Peak gondola is set to open in December linking the top of Whistler Mountain to Blackcomb and moving over 4000 skiers per hour between the two peaks. Two of the gondolas will be glass-bottomed for an unrivalled view of the valley below - not for the faint hearted!
